FOODS TO ALWAYS KEEP ON HAND

You have been at work all day, just finished your workout, studied your ass off and now you are starving!

All the worst places you can possibly eat look like the best right about now and you are just about to give in to a pizza and beer binge meal to satisfy your cravings.

 

Obviously you will binge and then regret.

You will regret being set back on accomplishing your goals.

You will be upset and unmotivated because now you are starting back from square one.

 

It’s probably happened to you before and it never feels good.

 

So how the hell do we prevent that from ever happening again?!

 

You need to have stuff on hand for those want to give in moments.

Here are 3 foods you can carry with you at all times that will help you stay on track when you are about to break.

 

Food #1

Mixed nuts.

Mixed nuts are loaded with healthy fats, proteins and minerals you need for any goal. While they are fairly high in fat as long as you do not over eat them they are a far better choice than most of what you will crave during these hungry times. Grab a handful and curb your cravings instantly.

 

Food #2

Protein Shakes

Now I am not a super big fan of supplements in general but in this scenario having a protein shake on hand is a big benefit! Keep an extra tub of powder in your trunk and at a moment’s notice with a little bit of water, you got a shake to hold you over until you can get to your next meal.

 

Food #3

Fruit

This one obviously will not last as long as the other 2 options but if you bring a banana or an apple or something of that nature with you daily you can definitely eat it to boost your blood sugar and make a better food choice.

 

All and all, staying on track meals planning for times when you will want to fall off.

 

Simply plan for these moments and falling off will come to an end.
