My name is Kristyn Mahoney! I live in Edmonton, Alberta, way up in Canada! I joined TeamFFLEX back in 2017 in order to improve my physique. Back then, I was closer to 160 lbs and not in the best shape. I always said "I will never compete, it's not for me!", although the truth was I was scared to commit to a competition because I didn't think I could ever get lean enough.
Shortly after I joined on Coach Ryan and I signed me up for a show and I went into my first prep! I came first in my Figure class and second overall, and second in bikini! Since then, I have competed in 5 shows and eventually earned my WNBF Figure Pro Card. One interesting fact about me is that I am a plant based athlete! I have been vegan for just over 5 years. I am also a TeamFFLEX Show Day Coach and excited to continue to grow with TeamFFLEX!
Now i'm ready to help you have a flawless competition experience!
Hi I'm Maura!
I'm a labor and delivery nurse who also loves to lift (hence the instagram @theliftingrn ). I fell in love with fitness a few years ago when I started working out with my sister. Up until this point in my life, I hadn't really worked out and my nutrition was a mess. I tried several fad diets, a few "meal plans" but none of them really worked for me. It wasn't until I got my customized macros and workouts through Team FFLEX I was been able to see my long term results, and compete in my first bodybuilding competition! After placing in my first show I was hooked! I love competing (especially the glam aspect of it), and I cannot wait to assist you as you prepare for your show!
Hello my name is Missie McLagan. I'm 40 years old, a wife and a mother. I have 1 daughter that is 15 years old and have been married for 16 years. I'm 4'11 with blonde hair and blue eyes. Short but mighty. So that's a personally information about me,
My interest in bodybuilding came from my high school weights teacher who wanted me to bodybuild. So I gave it a try and loved it, but never took it seriously. After high school I started going to my local gym. I would read magazines and dream that 1 day I would compete in a figure competition. I started to work there and became more and more interested init. The gym changed my life. I became more aware of my eating habits and it grew to be part of my life. I became friends with a girl that way getting ready for her 1st show. Went with her and help her out from there we picked a show date and the rest is history.
So I have been at this sport competing for about 7 years now and love every minute of it. There are highs and lows but you just have to live and learn from each. I have had good trainers and not so good ones. I'm proud to say now I am with a great trainer. Ryan with teamfflex is very understanding and is always looking out for your healthy and well being. I also have a great team that supports each other..
I started in the NPC figure and than tried out Women's Physique in the INBA/PNBA I loved it. The mandatories to me came easy compared to figure. I qualified for JR Nationals and placed 6th. I earned my PRO card in this organization and did my first PRO show. I had a lot of fun but decided to go back to the NPC organization.
I would also like to say the love for this sport is my fire, I'm a personal trainer and it makes my heart happy to see people change their lives. I never call it a diet it's a life style change. I'm also a show day coach for teamfflex and help run our booth at shows that we sponsors. These days are amazing and honored to able to be apart of these athletes lives.
That's about it I hope to some day to a chance to meet you at an event or even be your show day coach.
My name is Crystal,
I’m a fairly simple person who enjoys early morning gym sessions and days off with my family.
I joined Ryan and the Team Fflex Fam in 2018, I was always in and out of the gym for years, which made me decide to jump into competing. I first started competing in 2018...I have competed in 3 competitions and I’m currently in my first real improvement season and enjoying it. I compete for so many reasons, but the main reason I compete has to be the feeling of accomplishment! Knowing all your hard work has paid off, that’s GOLD!!
When it comes to the VIP, I cannot wait. We are going to make life so much easier during one’s prep. Less stress, less hassle. But manly more connections, more memories. I can’t wait to meet you all.
